Cyntoia Brown — the sex trafficking victim who was granted clemency while serving a life sentence for killing a john — says she was stunned to learn that Netflix was set to release an unauthorized documentary about her fight for freedom.

The 32-year-old former convict said she had no involvement in the flick “Murder to Mercy: The Cyntoia Brown Story,” which will premiere on the streaming service later this month.

“While I was still incarcerated, a producer who has old footage of me made a deal with Netflix for an UNAUTHORIZED documentary, set to be released soon,” Brown wrote Wednesday on Instagram. “My husband and I were as surprised as everyone else when we first heard the news because we did not participate in any way.”
