Sontochin is likely German for Sontoquine. After discovery of cache in Tunisia, it was sent to US for analysis. US further modified into a form they later realized was Resochin (Chloroquine) which was effective against Malaria. The main structural difference between Chloroquine and Sontoquine is the number of double bonds in the two Carbon rings–three double bonds on the ring with Chlorine for Chloroquine and two double bonds on that same ring for Sontoquine. Notably (no pun), Sontoquine's ring structure is identical to the Hydroxychloroquine structure. The only difference seems to be very slight at the end of the Carbon chain attached to the rings–maybe just an artifact of the synthesis.
In 1937 Hermann Doehner died in the Hindenburg. He was General Manager of Beick–Felix, a drug company in Mexico City. He was turning from Germany after re-organizing the company. Not much information on company, but found a picture of one of their products, labeled Botoquine.
Q142 referring to the Hindenburg, "Who died during the 'accident'?" "Why is this relevant?"
