Hey Anons, I wanted to pass something by you guys, you know how with MSM every story Is the President is destroying the world, it’s always something with “hair on fire”, the world is going to end, he’s a tyrant…and yeah headlines bring people in, but it’s exhausting, makes me angry, tired and depressed! That is the main reason I stopped reading or watching them 3 years ago.
Well I’ve noticed, one of my favorite sites are using similar tactics, Gateway Pundit. I was thinking about Gateway as one of the very good sites, they have groundbreaking stories and really good writing and opinion most of the time.
They should know their “hair on fire headlines“ that generate anger, protectionism, angst, panic, anxiety and fear is not what conservatives need. It’s a difficult time for us and we would read them even if they head a regular headline.
It seems like the the MSM has abusive headlines, it’s journalism 101, what bleeds is what leads!
I read Gateways intriguing news analysis, but I’d prefer they not use the same tactics as MSM. I’m sure they would understand if I could communicate it to them, that we don’t want to be drawn in that way.
I really wish there was some way I could tell Gateway Pundit that they do great research & reporting, but to stop with the same emotional and mental triggers that MSM uses. They are so much better than that
