She’s Not Speaking For You – How Much Do The Pelosi’s Have Invested In China?

President Trump announced Tuesday that he was immediately suspending funding to the World Health Organization (WHO). The State Department was otherwise poised to hand over to the WHO $893 million over the next two years. The President’s move came in response to the actions of the WHO and particularly its Director, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, in defending China’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic. Estimates are that 95% of the deaths worldwide from the ongoing pandemic could have been avoided had Chinese authorities not lied about the scope of the outbreak and had instead warned the world of the scope of the problem on their soil. In making the announcement that funding would be withheld the President also noted that an investigation was being launched into the actions of the WHO stating that the WHO had put “political correctness over lifesaving measures” and that the WHO was “China-centric.”

“We have deep concerns over whether America’s generosity has been put to the best use possible,” Trump said. He noted that the WHO had a duty to warn the world of what was really happening in China and that “The WHO failed in this duty and must be held accountable.” He added that the WHO had also ignored “credible information” in December 2019 that the virus could be transmitted from human to human.

Wednesday, the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi attacked President Trump’s decision, saying it was “dangerous” and “illegal.” She vowed to fight the decision and to maintain funding to the WHO. The senior member of the United States House of Representatives confronting the President and vowing to go to the mat and ensure that almost a billion dollars of the taxpayers’ money be handed over to an international organization at the same time the average American – out of work and locked down – is struggling to pay the rent and buy groceries? Strange. Or maybe not that strange. The real issue here is China and holding it and its minions – like WHO Director Ghebreyesus – accountable for the damage its lies and disinformation have done to global efforts to combat the pandemic. And, when it comes to China, Pelosi chose sides a long time ago.

''Pelosi may present herself as the defender of the little guy. She is anything but. In 2018 her net worth was roughly $160 million. She is married to Paul Pelosi who runs a top tier investment and real estate firm in San Francisco. Over the course of decades, as Nancy has risen through the ranks of the Democratic Party, the Pelosi’s have gotten fabulously wealthy. There have been any number of allegations over the decades that Nancy and her husband have profited in ways that are clearly illegal from the access a senior politician enjoys. Over a span of years, Nancy Pelosi used her influence to steer more than $1 billion to the expansion of a light rail line into a San Francisco neighborhood where her husband owned commercial property and in which business associates of his then purchased additional properties''. The value of real estate in the area exploded with the arrival of light rail, and the Pelosi’s made a killing.

There has also been an almost unending number of ''allegations that Paul Pelosi has benefited from what is known as insider trading''. That is, he has made sometimes enormous purchases of stocks based on information allegedly provided to him by Nancy, who was privy to sensitive, non-public information by way of her position. The most recent example occurred earlier this year. Nancy Pelosi had meetings in mid-February where she was handed secret information about the Coronavirus that the rest of the country was not given. Immediately following those meetings Paul Pelosi made massive purchases of stocks in tech companies in which he had not previously invested. All those companies have since substantially outperformed the market, and Pelosi has made huge profits.

Dem Senator: America's Coronavirus Crisis 'Not Because of Anything China Did.' Um, What?!

With each increasing day, Democrats sound more and more like desperate probationary members of the Chinese Communist Party. When Trump calls out Chinese propaganda (that the U.S. military created the coronavirus) by referring to the "Chinese virus" or the "Wuhan virus," lefty journalists and Democrats are all to quick to echo the CCP and accuse him of RACISM. When Trump defunded the World Health Organization (WHO) to force it to clean up its act and stop kowtowing to China, Democrats in the House Appropriations Committee went nuclear, comparing this defunding to the Ukraine matter leading to Trump's impeachment.

Yet sometimes the groveling is truly jaw-dropping. For instance, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) said China had absolutely nothing to do with the coronavirus crisis in America. Instead, he placed all the blame on Trump. "We knew it was a matter of time before it arrived here and it was just shocking how cavalier the administration was," Murphy said, repeating the false claim that Trump had called the deadly pathogen a "hoax." "The reason that we’re in the crisis that we are today is not because of anything that China did," the senator added. "It’s not because of anything that the WHO did. It’s because of what this president did. He didn’t take this virus seriously."

To be fair, Trump did give conflicting statements about the virus — partially because medical professionals also gave conflicting statements about it. Numerous media outlets — on the left as well as on the right — not only referred to the virus as "the Chinese coronavirus" or the "Wuhan coronavirus" but also downplayed the danger of the virus, saying the common flu is worse. Experts had been confused about the coronavirus not just because it is new but because the Chinese government repeatedly lied about it, hid news about the pandemic until it was too late, and then seemingly helped the spread of the virus. Indeed, the British think tank the Henry Jackson Society (HJS) claimed that countries should sue China for breaking international law and demand trillions in damages. "From the outset, the CCP tried to censor attempts by Chinese citizens to identify and publicise the truth concerning the origins, nature and dangers of the virus. Not all of these censorship efforts succeeded, and a considerable body of independent, corroborative data came to light," the HJS report explains. "Though all information in the Chinese official media is subject to CCP control and prima facie cannot be trusted, carefully comparing demonstrably factual non-official data with suitably caveated information from official channels makes it possible to construct a coherent, fact-based picture of what actually happened, and hence to allocate responsibility."

Ilhan Omar may pay husband’s political firm over $1M by end of year

Rep. Ilhan Omar is on track to pay the political firm founded by her new husband more than $1 million by the end of the year, campaign finance filings show. In the first three months of this year, the Minnesota Democrat’s campaign paid the E Street Group $292,000 for advertising, fundraising, travel and other services, according to a federal campaign finance report filed Wednesday and obtained by the Star Tribune.

At that rate, the company would get $1.16 million from Omar’s campaign in 2020 — more than double the $523,000 it received for the whole of last year. The firm was founded by Omar’s longtime consultant Tim Mynett, allegedly a former lover whom she married last month. The congresswoman announced their nuptials on Instagram. Their relationship attracted scrutiny in August, when The Post was first to report that Mynett’s then-wife, Beth, alleged in court papers that he walked out on their marriage after admitting to having an affair with Omar and declaring his love for her. Both Omar, 38, and Mynett, 39 — who were each married to other people at the time — denied the affair.

The claim prompted a conservative watchdog group to file a complaint against Omar with the Federal Election Commission. The FEC has taken no public action in regard to the complaint. It’s not illegal to put friends and family on the campaign payroll as long as the cash is for legitimate campaign expenses and paid at fair market value. The freshman firebrand — who first hired Mynett’s firm during her 2018 congressional run — defended their business relationship in a series of tweets last month.

“My relationship with Tim began long after this work started. We consulted with a top FEC campaign attorney to ensure there were no possible legal issues with our relationship. We were told this is not uncommon and that no, there weren’t,” Omar tweeted. “As a family, we are committed to the practice of joy, compassion and love in our politics. And we are giving ourselves the permission to be happy and hope others will as well.” Her campaign didn’t immediately return a request for comment from The Post.

California confirms one case of double-voting and possibly more during Super Tuesday election

California Secretary of State Alex Padilla confirmed double-voting via mail-in ballots occurred during the Super Tuesday primary vote last month. Padilla said there was one confirmed case of double-voting and 12 instances of suspected double-voting by registered voters identified with “duplicate voting history,” according to Breitbart. Citizen watchdog group Election Integrity Project California sent a letter to Padilla ahead of Super Tuesday requesting his office look into possible double-voting during the primary election.

“Election Integrity Project California has an incredible accomplishment here. Moving the California Secretary of State to share evidence of apparent double voting among duplicated registrants is a testament to their research methodology and judgment,” Public Interest Legal Foundation President J. Christian Adams said. “Duplicate registration and voting is a growing problem nationally that is being confronted like seen here, New Mexico, Michigan, and Pennsylvania,” he added.

The issue of voter fraud has been debated in the media as Democrats push for vote-by-mail funding in light of the coronavirus. A report this week stated that more than 28 million mail-in ballots were unaccounted for in the last 10 years. A Heritage Foundation study from last year also found over 1,000 documented cases of voter fraud that yielded over 900 convictions in 47 states. Democrats tried to include a specific provision for vote-by-mail funding in the $2 trillion coronavirus economic relief package Congress passed in March. The final bill included $400 million to help states prepare for upcoming elections but did not make specifications for voting by mail.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been a vocal advocate of mail-in voting since the coronavirus began sweeping across the nation. “The integrity of the election system is central to our democracy,” she said in March. “How anyone could oppose our enabling the states to have vote-by-mail raises so many other questions, but let’s just be hopeful and have public opinion weigh in on that.” President Trump pushed back on expanding vote-by-mail elections, citing fraud, and telling reporters that “thousands of mail-in ballots” are thrown out. “Republicans should fight very hard when it comes to state wide mail-in voting. Democrats are clamoring for it,” he tweeted Wednesday. “Tremendous potential for voter fraud, and for whatever reason, doesn’t work out well for Republicans.”
