Had a thought about the color purple
Why they wear it so much
We know purple is a mix of red and blue
Royal purple, or Tyrian purple, was made using a mucus secreted from snail glands
Sometimes the color of dried or clotted blood
What if they wear purple as a mix of blue with red blood, whether figuratively or literally?
True. "Royal" purple has been around since ancient Greece/Rome.
So why is it "royal"?
It was hard to come by. Rare.
Considering the original dye was made from snail gland secretions (who does that kind of shit?) and how fucked up the royals were, it wouldn't surprise me at all to know they were dressing themselves in clothes dyed with real blood
Is this an actual person or are they using this story to scare our grocery workers?

Royal purple was actually the color of dried blood, not the purple you see in the rainbow (violet)
