Bill Gates went to Harvard so I went looking in the IRS non-profit database for "Harvard" after reading the PB notable on Johns Hopkins (TY Anon, for the inspiration). Over 450 hits for 'foundations' with Harvard in their names. Looked at just one: the Dubai Harvard Foundation for Medical Research ('member back when Q pointed out Muslim money going to colleges/universities?)
According to their IRS Form-990, the foundation was established as a subsidiary of Harvard University in 2004 (page 33), has no employees and reimburses Harvard College for personnel expenses for work done on behalf of the "Foundation" (page 34). The President and Chairman of the Board of the foundation? George Q. Daley, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, who garnered cash and prizes on the order of $841,000 (page 31) in 2017 and is listed as having worked 35 hours/wk (page 7). [How does this work? Is his entire work week on behalf of the 'foundation'?]
The founder? Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum who has been accused of kidnapping and torturing his daughters.
A founding member is Alwaleed Bin Talal Al Saud. Yeah - one of the guys who was 'detained' in an effort to route out corruption.
Due FROM Harvard = $17M + (page 24)
Don't pretend to actually understand the intricacies of how this all works, but it seems rather odd that what looks like a Harvard Dean's salary is paid by an outside foundation. What anons need is a FT forensic accountant (or six).
