More and more research is being done into how important the gut/brain connection is.

Processed foods also strip out all the insoluble fiber that alot of these gut flora rely upon.

Not just gut flora, but lower intestine flora as well.

I have been supplementing with probiotics and adding more varied types of fiber to try and encourage gut health. Lots of Anons swear that Kombucha works extremely well, but I can't get past the smell so I haven't tried it yet.

Gut health also effects OBESITY and MENTAL HEALTH.
