M.K. Pritzker's Evergreen Invitational raises $1.2 million for women's health programs
MK Pritzker's Evergreen Invitational raised $1.2 million Saturday for historically underfunded women's health programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
The equestrian grand prix jumping show, which combines Ms. Pritzker's love of horses and philanthropy, drew more than 600 guests to the Bristol, Wis., farm she owns with her husband, entrepreneur and venture capitalist J.B. Pritzker. The event was co-hosted by the Woman's Board of Northwestern Hospital.
Ms. Pritzker, who grew up riding horses in South Dakota, chaired the equestrian committee portion of Chicago's bid for the 2016 Olympics. She also is a trustee of the U.S. Equestrian Federation.
