The world is rushing towards a COVID19 vaccine. A vaccine against the new corona virus promises protection as well as freedom of movement. However, the COVID19 vaccine could be worse than the disease. This is not just an academic discussion. There are risks and you should be aware of them.
Could a vaccine be worse than the disease?
Vaccines have saved millions from many different diseases since 1797 when Edward Jenner developed the first vaccine for smallpox. Many people consider the benefits of vaccines to outweigh their risks. However, could a new COVID-19 vaccine impose more risks than benefits?
Some of new the vaccine technologies have long names that may elicit a “Whatever” response. To understand the potential danger of these new technologies, you do not need a degree in immunology, genetics, or vaccine production. Here are the main points—
1) New vaccines technologies can prevent plagues like the new COVID-19 or they could be a mad scientist’s dream come true.
2) Some vaccine technologies can be used for either vaccines or gene therapy. In the wrong hands these gene therapies/vaccines could reprogram many body functions. For example, they could shut down the thyroid’s ability to produce hormones, forcing you to purchase thyroid medication like someone who had their thyroid gland removed due to cancer. They could shut down the body’s ability to produce blood clotting factors, forcing people to either buy clotting factors or die. Other possibilities run into the thousands.
3) Gene suppression or gene silencing can vary from hours to weeks. Some gene therapies are being developed to knock out specific gene for the rest of a person’s life
If you think the statements are conspiracy theories, I ask you to be open-minded before dismissing this as “Whatever.”
If any this concerns you, contact your elected officials and demand that the Food and Drug Administration does not approve new COVID19 vaccines unless there is robust independent surveillance and fail-safe procedures to prevent malicious use of gene therapies/vaccines.
