He was a member of Lodge St Andrews, No.81, (Boston, Massachusetts) which held a Charter from the Grand Lodge of Scotland.

Warren was appointed Grand Master of all Scottish Freemasonry in the 13 colonies by the Grand Lodge of Scotland.

At that same time, Warren was appointed Grand Master of the newly established Provincial Grand Lodge of Massachusetts.

Upon his death, John Hancock became Grand Master.

It seems this was a place they could all be together. . .be curious how many signers of the Declaration were NOT Masons.
