trying to find a good wiki article
Lets then assume the interior cube is 1x1x1 and the exterior cube is 2x2x2

>lets start with what are you trying to accomplish?
I thought I made that crystal clear; I'm trying to find the length of the diagonal given the interior and exterior values.
A tesseract by definition has all edges equal in length.
When projected onto 3D space, we measure the interior cube to be 1x1x1,
and the exterior cube to be 2x2x2;
What's the length of the diagonal lines?

Now you're just trying to talk past me.
A tesseract is defined mathematically; all edges are equal in length.
Project it onto 3D space so that the interior cube is 1x1x1, and the exterior cube is 2x2x2.
What is the length of the diagonal?
That's gonna be a cold hard number in keeping with that ratio, not hand waving.
Not if you're given the 1 and the 2; you can infer your projection from that + the definition of a tesseract, can you not?
That's enough data to calculate the diagonal.
If you can't, can you link the equation I should be using?

it sounds like you're using rendering software to find an answer, instead of understanding the underlying math
are you using an equation or software?
You are so full of shit, you know that right?
I've never seen anyone dodge and weave so much, anyways this has been fun.
I'll let you know if I find the answer to the diagonal.
