Since the end of March, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been trumpeting a study by the little-known “Deep Knowledge Group” that claims that Israel is the safest country in the world in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Despite repeated efforts by journalists, scientists and concerned social media users to debunk the study, Netanyahu continues to cite it on prime-time television as well as on his official website and social media feed…….
