I am a SurgeryNurse Anon. I am PISSED about the masks. The fucking shortage of masks and gowns is the reason I CANT WORK. Everytime I see one, I want to rip it off. They are using their heartstring techniques to say…Stay home to protect the Docs and Nurses! FUCK THAT! This is our fucking jobs…don't play on emotions bc you think we are pissed off bc you aren't wearing masks…WE FUCKING NEED THEM TO WORK. The masks DO NOT PROTECT YOU so take off your fucking thongs and pacifiers….YOU KEEP ELECTIVE PROCEDURES FROM HABBENING!!! Fucking LIVID

NO YOU ARE WRONG. You can blow a fucking candle out with a surgical mask. Only droplets like snot, acts as a barrier. If the Doc had active TB, or any airborne illness, the patient would be exposed if the surgeon wore only a surgical mask. Faceshields are attached, btw.
So I don't get exposed to bloodborne pathogens and protect from bone, pus, bodily fluids, etc. Surgery is very messy blood bath sometimes.
Not if the virus can pass thru the mask. It only protects you from their snot in your face. And you aren't wearing a shield, so it would be spraying into your eyes anyway.
Trump is not a medical provider. His minions stresses over and over and over and over again masks were not needed. The professionals already told you that, people are only wearing them bc it makes them feel safe. Then they take them off and touch their face and get sick bc they have no clue about transmission of germs removing masks and gloves.
