Been to Alaska 15 times now; all over the place, and for prolongued time periods. The only 2 places I'd say are populated are Anchorage and Fairbanks, and those populations are small by continental US city standards. Juneau is packed in tight.
But I'm questioning coronavirus outbreak there. Seriously. And it's colder up there now and during our breakout season down here. It does get warm up there during summer in interior but during the months of Feb, Mar., cold. Typically snowy even into May.
COVID-19 supposedly doesn't fare well in cold weather. And most Alaskans spend a lot of time indoors in homes during the months in question.
So….I believe this is a cover for something else. Just my .02
