I love how Jesus dealt with the conniving muckity mucks of His day in Luke 20 who were blind to Truth & am reminded of Trump daily dealing with the evil MSM trying to verbally trip him up at every turn. Jesus played hard ball with the hard hearted.

:26 "So they failed to trap Him by what He said in front of the people. Instead, they were amazed by His answer, and they became silent."

If only the MSM would become silent! But they're so desperate that they don't even try to hide their clumsily-clad attempts to trip Trump up.

Here Jesus is, trying to educate the interested, who then have to put up with the big-heads' wasted-breath-and-time questions; that Jesus turns against them.

Here Trump is, trying to educate & encourage, then we have to wade thru the MSM batting-at-mosquitos nuisance in order to glean a little more truth amidst misleading questions and twisted, false accusations.

:27-47 Next send in the Sadducees to try their best. They had some opposing beliefs to the other "parties" but found themselves on the same team because of their common enemy. They all hated Jesus. But Jesus shut them down, too.

:40 "And then no one dared to ask Him any more questions. Then Jesus presented them with a question."

His enemies offered no answer cuz they had none.

:45 "Then, with the crowds listening, he turned to his disciples and said, "Beware…"

Jesus blasted his adversaries. Trump blasts the MSM reporters, and states hard truth about them and what they represent. Surely their blind hate deepens for him!

How cool if they had to wear viewable blood pressure cuffs!

among them who are in their league but watch & listen with hearts sick of the prideful games and who want even more to have courage to take a stand for what they know deep inside is truth & right… no matter the fall out… and who will acknowledge ultimate Truth, that Jesus is Who He says He is.

I'm not trying to equate Trump with Jesus. I'm just appreciative that he knows how to play hard ball with the hard hearted in this huge spiritual war and is imitating Jesus.

Father God, in Jesus' mighty and matchless Name, thank You for our President. Continue to keep Your protective hand of guidance on him & those You allow to surround him. Weed out any tares. Thank You that Your timing is always perfect. Show Yourself strong among the world's suffering souls, and draw many into Your glorious Kingdom through this plague as You draw many of Your children closer to Jesus than ever before. Cause the enemy's plan to boomerang and explode in his face.

Remind us to pray for our leaders every day. Thank You that prayer changes things. Grow each of us in our faith so that we say & do whatever You ask of us. Keep our eyes only on You; for Yours is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever. Amen.
