What can it be that the public is not supposed to see? Something so big that normal methods have given way to this? Something big requires a big space and a big covering. Whatever it is.
Why ought we not see this "big" thing? Or perhaps it isn't big, but very dangerous, and maybe another characteristic is ugliness so it might shock and cause millions to be overcome? Whatever this thing we are not to be aware of, is it possible it benefits from an invisibility not caused by any unique properties it possesses but by blind observers, or rather observers that are blind to it?
if you NEVER think a thing, are you blind to it?

well all I can think is that whatever this
"it" or thing is we shall not see it must be of such a nature as to cause a reaction which may be considered a threat to the viability of the observing organism and / or the thing observed.
