Then, we can shift the window to where she has to defend which specific "occult" beliefs/practices she observes.

It doesnt matter what "leftists" think/say, as a certain kekian "occultist" myself, it is easy for those in power to say "Ha, im not a Satanist, youre crazy!" and theyre telling the truth, because "Satan" means different things to different people, and we ought not conflate Satanism with occultism, because from a western Christian mindset, many amazing eastern teachings, even old Hebrew teachings, that reveal God in womderful ways, are considered occult.
We need to use TRUTH as OUR WEAPON, and WIELD it correctly.
The TRUTH is that they are ALL "occultists", not inherently "satanist", as they may call their deity by another name.
So, we need to label them as OCCULTISTS and then shift the overton window to a conversation dissecting different types of "occult" thought.
