The emphasis put on the fact that she is part a member of the "Q Squad" as well as the close-up of the "Q" pin, which just happens to be of yellow color (reminder: yellow maritime flag stands for the letter Q) suggest that this is not a coincidence, but a message:

"Japan is on board and is supporting Q."
