Not crazy, fren. I, too, bought a case of tonic water, and a bag of grapefruits. I eat the grapefruits in the morning, save the rind, put in a plastic baggie, then put in the fridge. In the afternoon, I tear up the rind, put in a chilled beer stein, then pour the tonic water over it. It is the most refreshing beverage I have ever tasted. The rind in grapefruit has quinine, too. Anyway, I have been so gassy, but I feel so good, as my gut has been revitalized.
No alcohol, but now that you mention it, vodka or gin would be a fantastic addition. I'll have an alcohol free in the morning, and an adult beverage during night shift. Good thing there is no olfactory capability through the interwbz.
