Yes, a death and willing sacrifice of the perfect innocence in the person of Jesus of Nazareth, the Lamb of God. Once that is realized, no more death to atone for sins is required. And it is by FAITH that we accept this, which is hard for some people to accept.

When it comes to matters that we cannot measure, spiritual matters etc, how else can you judge things, if not by faith? I have faith that I am right, and you think you are. Makes sense no?

As far as human sacrifice, yes it is abhorrent. Luckily only one was needed, and it was from the only God-man that could go through with it.

There is no greater love than that of a man, laying down his life for another.
