Spreading your way out of a May contract delivery problem means you rolled your same, very expensive, problem into another contract further down the road. Same problem, different delivery date. I haven't looked at Open Interest at the ICE, but from the way it's trading today and yesterday, most of it was rolled into the June contract, a k a "top step" or "front month". I want to know who took the otherside of Monday's payoff and delivery. That was the home run trade.

The political left, and the MSM supporting their narrative - relies on sound bite sized headlines to convince most readers/listeners. There are few references to the actual study - reading their promoted/published/broadcast material reveals confounded explanations & wildly conflated conclusions.

After spending more than a decade proctoring & editing scientific studies for publication, two areas ALWAYS contain errors: assumptions and conclusions. Correlation is not Causation.

Any sentence that begins with "clearly" is suspect. A priori assumptions run rampant.
