The bible constantly brings in materials from other cultures to show what God thinks of it and deals with it. Sometimes He corrects the other cultures, like Baal claiming he is the cloud rider. God the Father is the cloud rider. Just because you find traces of foreign cultures in the bible doesn't mean that the Hebrews always practiced them, or condoned them. Often they didn't.
