VA Sec. Wilkie: Veteran's Malaria Drug Test Not a Clinical Study
A study in the nation's veteran's hospitals of the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine, which has been touted by President Donald Trump in the fight against coronavirus, was an "observational study," not a clinical one, Department of Veteran's Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie said Wednesday.
It also was conducted on the people "in the last stages of life," but the results are different for younger people, he told MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle, adding that he is okay with Trump's "aspirational" comments on the medication.

Cameroon's President Acknowledges Army Massacre of Civilians
YAOUNDE, Cameroon (AP) — Cameroon's President Paul Biya has acknowledged that the military massacred innocent people, including women and children, in a northwestern village in February after the government first denied it.
“The corpses of the three women and 10 children, whom the military killed and tried to cover up their actions by also torching several houses and blaming separatist fighters, will be exhumed for the state to conduct decent burials,” a statement from Biya's office said.

Crohn’s is an inflammatory bowel disease that can affect several different points of the digestive tract. According to the Mayo Clinic, patients with Crohn’s Disease can suffer abdominal pain, diarrhea, fatigue, and weight loss. The pain can become severe and even lead to life-threatening complications.
