The (currently to us) ambiguous applications of Blockchain tech is still ambiguous for a reason. Not only am I no expert in any adjacent fields, I'm quite likely not going to be able to explain this adequately so as to really do the potential for the tech justice, but here goes:
Blockchain is a decentralized mechanism that allows for both private and public aspects to remain immutable and trustless. Because of these three factors, it can have potential use within a variety of human sectors, especially areas which play a vital role in man's governing paradigms.
Put simply, a big problem with government is that it inevitably reverts itself back to centralization despite any efforts to decentralize. This is the looming formula for any new government and this has been the case for as long as man has recorded time, more or less.
The reason Blockchain tech can be so innovative in this regard is its ability to remain decentralized, to remain immutable and to remain trustless. These are also aspects that give way to genuine promise outside of government, like economics (which we've already been predisposed to) and even Education. While I don't know enough to make claims about specific logistics or Healthcare, education seems simple, since methods of "teaching" have long faltered in the face of a parabolic innovative society. Education makes perfect sense, considering "book burning" more or less instantly becomes a thing of the past, eliminates the personal dilution commonly in place in the current master-student paradigm, and makes for a much more refined methodology of finding, authenticating and substantiating information.
The Economics side of this is really pretty simple - we just need a society more open to ideas of innovating this sector. People doing this bullshit fear mongering like the anon above have no place in these discussions because they've taken the bait by people looking to capitalize on the new frontier of money. Yes, they need people to pump their bags, but if more people find out how to do it effectively, it makes it harder for them to hide ways in which they can make money more efficiently. Also, crypto is rife with money laundering (hence POTUS speaking ill of it - which is also evidenced by anon's assumptions about Bitcoin leading to traceable crimes in the near future - which is all still up in the air, I'd think), so while it isn't a fool proof plan, we can certainly refine the ways in which we use it to get a more adequate feel for its use.
I'll admit though, I could've done much better with this explanation. I'm currently a bit distracted, so I can't offer the best explanation, but I hope this gives you a good foundation at the very least.

Again, there's much more to this than what I've loosely described, but as for the second thing your brought up, you're already using that technology, anon. You're using it currently, with myself.
/Ourguys/ both created and cultivated thhis technology to use, eventually, against their opponents.
