It's funny you should mention this. Donald Trump does this every day. His press conferences showcase the technique. He praises enemies, over and over again. If there is any good in them, they could turn from their evil path, they really could. The encouragement is real. The kind words shine the light on each one like a laser pointer. He does it over and over again, yet they never seem to learn. Some wither in his spotlight. Others retreat from publicly-held positions. Today we saw Birx's worldview shattered.
God is not willing that any should perish.
