Does anyone know what kind of construction permitting is required in the US virgin islands? A large underground facility requires heavy equipment. How large are these structures? can the tennis court be used to understand the scale? Ventilation/air exchange. Is island geology conducive towards this?

There are a lot of practical concerns regarding how things are built on these tiny islands that probably create some boundaries for whatever lies beneath the hills and ground.

Its about a trade war with china–The trade balance with china is so asymmetric, the US cannot lose. Imagine a simple model the trade war escalates to the point where ALL trade between both countries is banned. The trade imbalance necessarily goes to 0. This makes it clear China loses $500 billion more than the US. This is why the US has huge leverage in bilateral trade deals with China. We have many many other advantages in the negotiation related to relative demand elasticity and alternative markets for exports, but the models and math to demonstrate this are outside the scope of an image board.

This is great work, but it is unlikely they are storing fuel in the center of the island. Logistically, it makes sense to pump it somewhere near shore.

If a filing is sealed that is part of an ongoing investigation, all statues of limitation are tolled. In fact, sealing an indictment and waiting to arrest is one strategy prosecutors use to avoid violating a defendants right to a speedy trial. Speedy/habeus countdown does not start until you are arrested.

These people document everything about the property, operate a store inside of the whitehouse, understand the history/symbolism of every blade of grass on the place?

Didn't the british burn the place in the war of 1812? Didn't a tornado randomly tear through their army shortly after? I can't remember how much of this story is lore and how much is real.
