100% this. Keep in mind that the church has been subverted for millennia. I grew up with a very religious, sometimes pastor father, and what I was taught was very harmful. Fear. The church ppl at my parents church when I was a baby told them not to pick me up (as a baby) when I was crying because the baby was just trying to control them. A lot of wacky stuff happens in churches. And most churches do not teach the metaphysical elements and practices.
