hi anons, favor: i belong to a online discussion board re: nonpolitical, medical topic for which the participants all have been diagnosed with a rare specific condition. the board is run by a well renowned doctor. at times, the doc has shared his view of wanting socialized medicine and it's become clear that he dislikes trump. his latest post was making fun of the "doctor trump" as his disinfectant discussion. the board now seems to be splitting along political sides, which is unfortunate b/c we really benefit from the shared experiences and expertise that the board provides. i haven't commented until today - i posted in quotes below here, which i probably wouldn't have constructed without many anons' shared viewpoints. is there anything else you think might be useful for this group of patients that could gently redpill them? if so, i'll post again. i appreciate your comments and guidance.

"perhaps another perspective is to not rely on the federal government as the end all/be all with the answers of how to care for ourselves. seems to me that trump's comments have stirred up dialogue about cures, treatments, etc., both positive and negative. perhaps more americans are now doing their own research and looking more deeply into these subjects. it's a good thing to critically think and ask questions, especially over those who govern us. essentially, who are we to trust with our medical care? ourselves and our doctors. not some massive government bureaucrats….i ask, why would they have my best interest? b/c they are "good" people? how often does the government - run by any given political party - make major mistakes? all the time. i think we've collectively forgotten why this country was created and how it was formed. a whole lot of people died so that a king couldn't tell us how to live our lives."

this is a strange and interesting topic. your post made me google:

Egregore (also egregor) is an occult concept representing a "thoughtform" or "collective group mind", an autonomous psychic entity made up of, and influencing, the thoughts of a group of people. The symbiotic relationship between an egregore and its group has been compared to the more recent, non-occult concepts of the corporation (as a legal entity) and the meme.
