CRT TV's, man, when it was live TV and the cameras on the other side were also CRT's, damn, THAT was a portal. A two way portal. The masters did not like that, so they changed it. Even encrypted it for a greater quatum spread. Its still possible for live tv to be two way, its just the person who can do it is much rarer.
