I haven't been on the board as much as I'd like lately posting results of my research, or memes I created, since I have been a little distracted by life, as in survival.
I just received a letter confirming that I will be receiving unemployment benefits after my temporary staffing employment working at high end events, banquets, and swanky hotel lounge bars, mostly in Hollywood and LA, sometimes as a server and sometimes a bartender, evaporated once muh Corona hit.
(I could do a whole separate post on what I observed and heard at many of the "A" list celebrity functions. To "drop" a few names, in the last six months I worked the after parties for the Golden Globe Awards/Netflix attendees (nominees and winners), series finales wrap parties like the one for GOT, Grammy's after party for 3,000 attendees (getting paid to see Cheap Trick play was cool!). Also worked the Oscars, the NAACP Awards dinner, and Ellen's Gorillazilla fundraiser banquet (Sure wish I could have recorded some of that, but difficult because at all of these events, they even see you with a cell phone in hand and you get sent home, even on your break in the staffing break room, or tent (Wolfgang Fuck). Learned that these rich, cock suck celebrities are the cheapest mother fucks on the planet! They do not tip, and I mean, period! Everything is comped, no exchange of $, so easy for them to ignore the skills that go into a finely crafted cocktail and "at speed." After all, they are the chosen ones, and are "entitled." Seen and heard it all, the sick fucks up close and personal, including one fledgling starlet telling her cuck hubby, "you're eating my ass tonight!," over a 5 course, 5 star meal, just All Class, but I digress…)
With the difficulties in filing for my UI benefits, I came to the conclusion that I was witnessing total incompetence at every level of government here in Californica, or maybe it was intentional to slow up the claims? I mean these corrupt, power hungry, ass hats that are very successful in handing out free everything to illegal aliens, running businesses and people out of state due to their high tax rates, creating conditions where homeless flock to the state because of the favorable climate, and the best free money, food, etc., And the PD leaves you alone when they witness you shooting up that Heroin, Speed, or whatever. So fuckwads like Gavin Gruesome can run the State into the ground, and issue unconstitutional orders, but that's all they can run efficiently! I was born and raised here, and kept hoping and praying that we could turn the rapidly devolving shithole around, but I just don't see it happening, and I am frankly just over it!
Got my creative juices flowing, and the first real serious, seeds of thought for my exit plan, went from a thought sometime down the road, to planning in detail. I figured out that by the time my UI benefits that I and my employer paid into so not a drain on the taxpayer, are exhausted,
I will have the money I need to move to a Central American country, that is affordable when I take a late retirement next year. The first six months will be spent scouting out the four main regions I am interested in retiring to, and once I have done that, I will move to the area I prefer, and take muh SS benefits with an extra 8% for waiting an extra year beyond full retirement to take them. I can easily live on $1,100.- $1, 300. a month, comfortably. I'll be getting around 2k a month in benefits. If I was interested in the nightlife, eating at restaurants twice a week, etc., that number would be in the $1,500.-$1,700. range, but not interested. Just give me muh surfboards, muh guitar, and the basics, like filling up my fridge with fresh fruit and vegetables for $15.00 a week by buying from the local farmer's market.
So I took a bad situation with this Corona bullshit, and am turning it into "living the dream." I'll have a place big enough for visiting family and friends, and it's only about $300. for RT airfare back to the States, so I can visit children, and maybe someday grandchildren! I will continue to put up the fight to attempt to MCGA (Make California Great Again), and of course MAGA/KAGA, but remotely. Got plans for some side business ventures, like an oceanfront bar and grille, surf lessons for tourists, surfboard repairs, etc., to supplement my SS benefits, plus if and when it crashes, I'm prepared.
Much to do in the next six months or so before I "bugout," but now that I have a new direction, a clear plan of action, and clarity of thought about everything (haven't drank alcohol or smoked the herb in about a month), I am excited about life for the first time in about 20 years! (Excited about my life and my future, but I have been excited about MAGA, the board and Q, since October 2017!)
