Ventilator Associated Pneumonia

It's how going on a ventilator is a virtual death sentence.

Unless….

The ventilator comes with a way to "inject" light into the lungs

Has anyone had a close look at the ventilators that GM is making?

Which now seem to be in such high worldwide demand?

Antimicrobial Photodynamic Therapy to Control Clinically Relevant Biofilm Infections

Photodynamic therapy (aPDT) had been recently proposed to combat clinically relevant biofilms such as dental biofilms, ventilator associated pneumonia , chronic wound infections, oral candidiasis, and chronic rhinosinusitis. aPDT uses non-toxic dyes called photosensitizers (PS), which can be excited by harmless visible light to produce reactive oxygen species (ROS). aPDT is a multi-stage process including topical PS administration, light irradiation, and interaction of the excited state with ambient oxygen. Numerous in vitro and in vivo aPDT studies have demonstrated biofilm-eradication or substantial reduction. ROS are produced upon photo-activation and attack adjacent targets, including proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids present within the biofilm matrix, on the cell surface and inside the microbial cells. Damage to non-specific targets leads to the destruction of both planktonic cells and biofilms. The review aims to summarize the progress of aPDT in destroying biofilms and the mechanisms mediated by ROS. Finally, a brief section provides suggestions for future research.

Ventilator-associated pneumonia is a dirty secret in the medical field. Have not heard one person mention it except for POTUS alluding to it when he mentioned the low survival rate for CoVid patients put on a ventilator. All this discussion on ventilators and zero on VAP.

Now comes an technology that could reduce VAP significantly and it's banned on Twitter & YouTube. Should make anyone wonder who they are really serving.

With a mortality rate approaching 50 percent, ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) is one of the most dreaded infections that can strike a hospital patient. It afflicts up to 15 percent of those in intensive care units (ICUs) so weakened by illness or trauma that they need mechanical help to breathe. When the ventilator tube that pumps life-saving air into vulnerable lungs becomes contaminated, it can act as a pathway for bacteria or secretions to enter the respiratory tract, paving the way to a deadly VAP.

The overall attributable mortality of ventilator-associated pneumonia is 13%, with higher rates for surgical patients and patients with a mid-range severity score at admission. Attributable mortality is mainly caused by prolonged exposure to the risk of dying due to increased length of ICU stay.

A journalist who read all of these articles would become an expert in light therapy, especially the idea of "somehow injecting light into the body". There are several ways that it has been done, lots of studies and enough evidence to justify asking the Q in a very public way. Given the fact that SARS has returned in the form of SARS-CoV-2, and that it presents great difficulties in preparing useful vaccines, why has the medical establishment failed to explore Phototherapies that could prevent 10s of thousands of deaths every year? Not just SARS deaths, but also the annual death toll from the flu.

Ask the Q

Dig, make connections, draw the map

And a picture of gross negligence and criminal misconduct of the medical establishment emerges.

When will journalists ASK THE Q???

And stop pussyfooting around the issue.

We know

We already saw the film Hard Target (1993) and were disturbed that ex-military folks were making money setting up a trophy hunt for a human being in New Orleans.

The Bridge=

There is a series of photos of American GIs and Soviet soldiers meeting on the bridge over the Elbe.

A pontoon bridge in another location allowed the Americans to join the Russians in the final assaults on Berlin.
