Whitmer's mask-wearing order goes into effect in one minute. Only exemption is for those "medically unable to tolerate a face covering". So I am now medically unable – it chafes my sense of all that is good and true and right. It forces me to behave as if I am afraid, or possibly get bounced from the grocery store. How did this happen so fast? How many will be out tomorrow pressing the boundaries of enforcement by stores? How do I combat the feeling that we are on teams now, the mask-wearers and the naked-faced resisters?
We'll be at Lake Michigan Tuesday WITH friends. Maybe have resistance s'mores?
