Well, Q explained why "China" did this; votes. Virus being real, and all, there's a portion of this where we're having a civil liberties battle vs a "let's get back to work, sensibly" battle.
In the meantime, a percentage (albeit small; Qanons) of the population is on to the doctors being liars. The rest of the population that knows of Qanons that are hypothesizing there's a "big something" around the corner are looking at Qanons like they are idiots because the administration is "knowingly" going along with the scam in order to execute a political setup.
So, deal with a real threat, and play "hidden meanings" games with the public while folks sit around wondering WTAF is going on? Seems… unnecessary.
