Spitball here. Maybe more of full out lugee.I came across this article again today detailing how helminth infection modulate HIV by delaying an immune response. Sorry on my tablet. Here is a link.

So here is the spitball. What if the virus is codependent upon the helminth? We know COVID contains an HIV envelope. We see that ivermectin is effective and we see theories why. But consider all assumptions are flawed IF the virus needs the helminth. Helminths live from the host blood. Are they not in some way operating as our alveoli and heme operate? Parasites deplete us of nutrients. When I was young it was common to get dewormed. Why do we rarely see this now? Except for livestock and pets? Are the most vulnerable patients with multiple comorbidities also the most infected with helminths. I am going to research this more and get back. Just shocking a giant lugee on the board here.
