largely it was iron, natural gas, and coal prior to the CCP virus .

I would really like to see OzAnons get control of Pine Gap, and create a new Oz export business based on breakthrough tech that falls into patriots' hands at PG.

The writing has been on the wall for a while now that coal and gas were going out the door as commodities that could drive an economy. Just tear off the band-aid for crying out loud and get on with it.

from the big perspective, it was clear Oz would lose the coal/gas exports as some kind of breakthrough tech came online, be it cold fusion, LENR, takamak fusion, some weird form of ZPE extraction, or what have you.

that left the steel exports… but that was always dependent on the Chicoms building more infrastructure, which it seems they are going to be taking a long break from. And even then, looking at the steel industry into mid-century, it's quite possible some fancy shmancy nanomaterial superior to steel will be found.

If Australia plays its cards right, breakthrough energy tech will allow it to turn central Australia green and that continent could support 200 million people easy. So Oz anons better get busy with the luvvin' and babymakin'.
