Question: Under what authority does the state have the right to tell ranchers they have to kill their livestock? What law is there to force such an action upon them? Could they be arrested for refusing to comply? Curious..

That's the thing..It just doesn't make sense..I'd really like to see if they really are doing this. Some of these ranchers have very large herds..and not just cows.

Okay..so we basically have been under quarantine for a little over a month, and I get that they eat, but what I am really hearing is…

So if this is about money at the end of the day. Here's a thought..bring the less valued ones to slaughter and donate them to places that feed the poor, sick and indigent. End of the year's taxes it can be taken as charitable donation as well as profit loss.
