Grammar and spelling mistakes are forgiven on the chans, that is part of the culture and many people are on portable devices anyway
But using "whom" when "who" is the correct word (and easier to type and speak) is the sign of someone reaching for status they don't actually have

Pro-tip: in almost every situation you are safe saying "who" in any part of a sentence
Only place you would get called on it, in those instances "whom" is the more correct form, would be in a literal classroom
