Jonathan was born in 1640.

The Salem witch trials were a series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft in colonial Massachusetts between February 1692 and May 1693. More than two hundred people were accused. Thirty were found guilty, nineteen of whom were executed by hanging. One other man, Giles Corey, was pressed to death for refusing to plead, and at least five people died in jail.

 

Not a direct connection, but the use of goodwife, ie. Goody, used by the Massachusettes residence, and the dates, and name change, makes me wonder if the Dunham/singletary family wasn't connecte to the witch trials.

I just traced the Dunham family back to their real name, the Singletary Family, to Massachusetts…. and right around the time of the witch trials .

seemed to be part of the same religious sect with the goodwife,

 

need to see who Sarah Cooke was

I am assuming she saw things she found suspicious, and was being told to shut up, so I

started digging on the New York Presbyterian Hospital conglomerate, of which the Allan Hospital where she worked is affiliated with.
