years ago there was some digging about OJ and the Church's Chicken franchises he owned and someone noticed that laws are written such that it would be very easy to sell ten pieces of chicken in a day and sell a thousand on paper, putting cash in the till from other illegal operations and paying the taxes on it, now it's clean.

 

COVID funding and small business loans seem as if they could be used as a "shock test" to see which businesses are legit.

I have wondered for years if there is some kind of "homeopathic opiate" in certain products that keeps us going back for things that are not healthy for us, whether fast food or grocery store or hair salon.
