I've practiced out in Hancock and have never heard that name before. Western Md is essentially a bunch of Small towns, small medical community. most are foreign H1B visa's, since Md doesn't require Board Certification of physicians prior to issuing a license. (Most citizens don't realize this, but Md has a "self declared" specialty– meaning that a physician can declare any specialty they want for practice, no special education required, they just can't get hospital privileges without a board certification in SOMETHING–hence why the "hospitalist" groups were created).
The other thing most don't know is the foreign educated "doctors" who were NOT educated within the "western system" (for example: nigeria, afghanistan, pakistan, india, etc) do NOT have doctorate degrees. Most have either a bachelors degree, certificate after high school, or occasionally a masters degree.
