Sorry, please read some actual history instead of the anti-Catholic propaganda. The head of the Catholic Church is Jesus. The Holy Eucharist is the real presence of Jesus (John 6) body, blood, soul and divinity. The Churches are beautiful (pre-Vatican II) to show the love and respect and honor that Jesus the Lord, King of Kings, deserves. Why do Protestant churches hide Jesus, their worship services background is weird decoration or a blank wall?
