It means either

(1) Q posted, the 8kun server hashed Q's filename which we have never seen, and NSA/MI/someone altered the contents of the HTML page served to us by substituting 8kun's hashed filename for the original one that we never saw

or

(2) Someone with more computing power than we can imagine, knowing 8kun's hashing algorithm and secret salt, tested all possible filenames until they found one that hashed to the same character string as the input, and used that.

Either way, I think it tends to reinforce our idea of who Q is and what powers Q has.

No. When you post a graphic 8kun creates two links.

The first link is a hash created by 8kun from the filename you submit. Hexadecimal string consisting of lowercase letters a-f and numerals 0-9. This is the link to the thumbnail created by 8kun.

The second link to the fullsize image has the filename that you used when submitting the image. I'll post an example here.
