Christianity has been under attack by satan and his minions since the time of Jesus' resurrection. There have always been infiltrators and power-seekers wanting to grab spiritual authority and wrest it from Christ and his followers. As one sociologist stated throughout history there is the Church of power and the Church of truth. As soon as the Catholic Church became accepted as lawful by the Emperor, the power-hungry sought to infiltrate and control it. Jesus will heal the Church and she will be at the wedding feast of the Lamb in due course.
