I know some of you are security minded, is Digital Ocean a good cloud-based server to host a VPN service on?

I'm not trying to avoid legal-level detection, just was thinking about all these scam-baiting videos and had the thought that I could get involved with the fun, as one of the good guys.
They do when you control the log files and can alias your connection IP.
I guess my question is, is Digital Ocean secure? I'm not trying to do anything that will have a victim seeking prosecution, just trying to avoid being traced back by scammers that I fuck with for the lulz and hopefully some views.
WHat do you think RT's (Russias) interest in presenting these kind of truths to the American people is, exactly?

I've enjoyed his antics over the years. Hope he has his meth habit under control. It's a nasty drug to quit. Heard a group home counselor say about 5% of people actually are able to kick it completely.
that's an interesting way of looking at it. Probably closest to the truth. Not to mention, Burisma Holdings et.al were inching a bit too close on Putins doorstep for his comfort. I'm sure he didn't like Hillary & Co taking up shop in Ukraine.
Well that had Butina and the rest of the Russians coming out of that training academy in Virginia, so I'm not naive enough to believe they're "on our side" but I don't see any Russian names on Serco's financials, either. The whole chess match is a head scratcher. I find myself more and more just getting pissed off at the disinformation and appreciating things like RT telling us a glimmer or truth. The hard part is to realize that just because one party is telling a truth, doesn't mean they are on your side. That's why I liked the way you put it before, they're stirring the shit keeping us destabilized.

Isn't that the truth. I've never understood the draw to materialism to such a degree it would make people do some of the insane crap they do for money. I mean, moneys cool to have, but at the end of the day we're just bodies in a place, doing a thing and getting a feedback response from the thing we're doing. I think a swim in a hot spring surrounded by snow is about the best feeling this world can offer.
