2020-04-29, 9:30 AM EST - WoW Anon here, guys - I noticed a week or so ago that there was an unexplained loss of "Client Services" (i.e. guild chat and management) in game. I didn't think anything of it at the time, and it came back up, but seeing Q's post about Soros dumping $45 million into Activision/Blizzard and these back-channel comms, something clicked. "He who pays the piper, calls the tune…"

My guess is they've had comms going on over some Blizzard-hosted guild chat for a while now and they needed to take the chat etc offline to scrub the servers and logs - maybe scrub the guild membership logs as well. Apparently other people submitted complaint tickets to the tech support guys, but didn't get ANY response (which is weird, they usually will at least send you a copy-pasta "We're aware of the issue and are working on it, thanks for letting us know") CYA post to keep clients happy while they wait for the fix.

Incidents started getting reported on 4/13/2020; from the battle-net forums, sounds like issues were going on as late as 4/19/2020. Sorry I don't have the particular hours of the outages.
