Mueller team knew Flynn was setup.

Mueller team said Flynn was extremely cooperative in helping their investigation.

Mueller team still recommended a sentence, even if it was “light”.

They knew he wasn’t guilty. They knew despite all of that he was still helping them. And they still wanted him in jail. Not only should those prosecutors be in jail, but so should those in the Mueller team who knew all this and still perpetrated this lie and these criminal acts.

“Given the defendant’s substantial assistance and other considerations set forth below, a sentence at the low end of the guideline range — including a sentence that does not impose a term of incarceration — is appropriate and warranted,” Mueller’s office wrote in the memo filed Tuesday.

WILL THE NYTs APOLOGIZE TO FLYNN FOR THIS HIT PIECE

Mueller Rejects Flynn’s Attempt to Portray Himself as Victim of the F.B.I.

We have the proof he was setup. That he was, in fact and in writing, a victim of the FBI.

The president seized on the case that Mr. Flynn made against the F.B.I. in his sentencing memo, defending him on Twitter and on Fox News. “They convinced him he did lie, and he made some kind of a deal,” Mr. Trump said of investigators on Thursday during the television interview.

President Trump said it exactly!

NYTs response?

That contradicts the narrative that prosecutors have described in court papers.American intelligence had picked up Mr. Flynn’s conversations on wiretaps of the ambassador as part of standard surveillance. So the F.B.I. agents had evidence that Mr. Flynn was lying when he denied asking Mr. Kislyak that Russia refrain from reacting harshly to sanctions imposed by the Obama administration over election interference. He also said he did not remember Mr. Kislyak telling him that Moscow had backed off as a result of Mr. Flynn’s request.

James B. Comey, the former F.B.I. director fired by Mr. Trump, testified last week before Congress that the theory being pushed by allies of Mr. Flynn about his body language was bogus. “There’s no doubt he was lying,” Mr. Comey said.

Fucking Comey

About this whole Flynn thing, what does politics think have to say?

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2019/mar/28/donald-trump/no-fbi-did-not-say-michael-flynn-did-not-lie-donal/

Our ruling

Trump said of his former national security adviser Michael Flynn, "The FBI said he wasn't lying."

Trump is taking FBI agents’ impressions completely out of context. The agents who interviewed Flynn about his contacts with the Russian ambassador before Trump became president said he did not appear to be lying — meaning, he didn’t seem nervous or exhibit the usual traits of deception.

That’s quite different from their factual conclusion: Flynn lied to them. Flynn pled guilty to intentionally making false statements and is awaiting sentencing.

We rate this False.

I rate you as a partisan fuckstick shitting out fake news.

Look what the good ole Brandon Von Grack (ex-Mueller aide) had to say about MF back in feb 2020:

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/02/12/michael-flynn-prosecution-robert-mueller-114553

Just one day after President Donald Trump publicly slammed the targeting of Flynn and a longtime Trump adviser, Roger Stone, fueling a furor that apparently led four prosecutors to quit Stone’s case, Brandon Van Grack submitted a written pleading urging a judge to reject Flynn’s effort to have his prosecution thrown out on the grounds of “egregious government misconduct.”

“The defendant relies on allegations that do not pertain to his case, that the Court already rejected, and that have no relevance to his false statements to the FBI on January 24, 2017,” Van Grack wrote. “Beyond failing to identify misconduct that satisfies the legal test cited in his own brief —that the misconduct be ‘so grossly shocking and so outrageous as to violate the universal sense of justice’ — the defendant fails to identify any government misconduct in this case.”
