Thank you for the thoughtful response. I will think on it and study some more. There are so many different "meanings" given to these repurposed symbols, including intentional obfuscation.
The light and the bringer of the light may at times be the same thing while remaining different things. When "the light" is "the truth" the bringer of "the light" can be Lucifer indeed, depending on what truth has been uncovered; perspective.
The rescuer who shows up with a flashlight, when one is lost in the cave is surely the bringer of "the light" and also the savior of a desperate man, but likely not Lucifer. If he offers to sell the victim the flashlight, for a handsome profit, then perhaps.
I think about those who "steal" the light, take the spotlight, suck the air out of the room and live each moment to keep the attention on them. The very opposite of the patient teacher who brings the light of wisdom to his pupil each day.
