Keep in mind the scope and size of this, 3 years in about 60 years of military operations (judging by the JFK references) is small time, and in the greater scheme of things (biblical prophecy, second coming, 2012 mayan calendar, "nothing can stop what is coming"…) literally give or take a hundred years. By all means Q is riding the wave of Light stemming from unfathomably powerful forces that got us all here together so we can have a showdown with the darkness.
