Newly released FBI documents reveal communication between Roger Stone, Julian Assange

The documents, which were FBI affidavits, were released following a lawsuit brought by several media outlets

BI documents made public Tuesday, show that Roger Stone, shortly after the Mueller Russia collusion investigation began, communicated to Julian Assange, telling the Wikileaks founder that he would step in if prosecutors came after Assange.

“I will bring down the entire house of cards,” wrote Stone to Assange in a private Twitter message.

“As a journalist it doesn’t matter where you get information only that it is accurate and authentic,” Stone told Assange in a message from the summer of 2017.

“Between CIA and DoJ they’re doing quite a lot. On the DoJ side that’s coming most strongly from those obsessed with taking down Trump trying to squeeze us into a deal,” responded Assange.

Assange, who was at the time hiding out in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, is now in prison in England, fighting an attempt to extradite him to the United States. Last year the Justice Department charged him with a variety of crimes, including violating the Espionage Act when he allegedly instructed Chelsea Manning in a massive leak of classified government information.

Stone, who was convicted in 2019 of lying to member of the House and obstructing Congress’s Russia probe, is currently waiting on a date assignment to surrender himself to federal prison. The timeline remains unclear due to the pandemic, but Stone was sentenced in February to 40 months in prison.

A statement from Stone on Tuesday read that he has “no trepidation” about the release of his messages with Assange, because “they confirm there was no illegal activity and certainly no Russian collusion bu me during the 2016 Election.”

The very idea of justice is dead right now.

FBI & others are, according to Wittes, blithely using entrapment as a lazy method to rack up arrests and convictions.

They want the numbers and the stats.

That's how the Bureau justifies itself, justifies requests for billions for more agents, more buildings, more safe houses, more vehicles, more sketchy "expenses".

Works that way in every government agency, from top of the federal to the lowest-tier shlubs in Mayberry USA.

They know they don't actually produce anything, and they're sure as hell too lazy and entitled to "serve the public".

So they became criminals.

>Merge some get rid of others and fire a shitload of unamerican scumbags

The best business plans are the simplest.

I bought a car from a good ol' Tennessee boy and his two sons. They operate out of a trailer on a gravel lot in an industrial park. They had the most jaw-dropping collection of classics, muscle cars, and sexy cars I've ever seen. Easiest car buy of my life. We shot the breeze for a while before I left. Asked the guy how he came up with the concept for it, and he said "I went to the bank to get a startup loan, and the banker wanted to see a business plan. I told him I could explain it in just a few words: My sons and I only sell good-looking cars that we LIKE." He got the loan, and is a good dude making money selling cars that he likes.

Simple. Overcomplicated business lingo word salad was shitty in the 1980s when some book shillers invented it, and it needs to die.

Gilead CEO is pedaling that bike as fast he can.

Their stock crashed the other day after that trial data was published.

This is Gilead's public relations department, bailing water out of that boat.

If the White Hats had access to computer capacity and muscle anything remotely close to what Bill Binney has repeatedly said they do, the Wikileaks stuff could be already in use by grand juries. They could have had it for several years at this point. No way to leak it or declassify it to the public before the case is complete.

I think Julian Assange has already served enough time, whatever else his company may have.

Exactly! Who, indeed, is to judge?

So much NatSec has already been lost, compromised.

So much rebuilding, recreating to do in the years to come.

The biggest challenge at the highest level of all this is making sure that the crimes are revealed, and the criminals given "statement" punishments, without burning down the whole fort.

The nation is so damaged at this point that there will need to be a crescendo and climax of justice, enough to change minds, teach lasting lessons, and at the same time preserve the founding principles so we can go on.

I still want all those creeps to die poor, devastated, alone, and in a prison fire.

Chris Coons is the guy nobody liked in high school

Who got mad, went to law school, then ran for office & climbed that ladder until he got to Washington

He's still just bitter about not even making the JV team.

Podesta.

I can't believe that guy is still walking around.

The "skippy" recording turned up on my twatter feed yesterday. Had never heard it before, never had the nerve.

God in heaven, that man is evil incarnate.

I wish I could delete the memory of those sounds from my brain.
