Yeah, I dunno, bud. This shit is still pretty difficult to grasp because there's so many moving parts.
Yaldabaoth is both blamed for the "negative" aspects of this realm but takes on the form throughout many ancient traditions as a "dragon".
What's bothersome about this is that the winged serpent also manifests as Melek Taus (this is sort of ambiguous), Quetzalcoatl, Kukulkan and plenty of other ways. There's Lucifer who is the serpent, Thoth who is the bird-man (which, again, a bit ambiguous but related) and even a few more examples but we don't need to muddy things that much.
I'll concede that Sophia also fits in with the Lucy categorization and contributes to the "fallen 'angel'" sort of position, but this doesn't detract from so many of the Christ figures being described physically as the same way as Yaldabaoth.
Maybe this is my explanation for conflating them. Besides, I'm quite confident this is done on purpose, hence my writing it off as inversion magick.
Obviously, I'd love to hear your explanation for these things. You seem better equipped to find these concrete explanations, anyway.
To further relent, I'm no master. I wouldn't want to be, either… how boring would that be?
Either way, I like that you have helped here. It's clear the others don't understand nor appreciate what you're doing, but I can see pretty clearly for the most part.
